Meet me later January 28, 2014January 28, 2014 ~ Christi He watched her work at the next table, his coffee growing cold. After an hour, he scrawled the note on his napkin. After two, he tucked it inside her book. She didn’t notice. Published by Christi View all posts by Christi

Now there’s a nice surprise!
lol Still thinking about his coffee growing cold.
What a good description of frustration! LM x
Thanks! It is hard not knowing if she’ll ever find the note.
What a loss-for both -unless of course, she notices it and there ensues an interesting chapter in their lives;-)Great job!
Thanks! I do want to know what happens too.
Obviously, the young lady is very focused on her studies. But, perhaps, just perhaps, she stole a glance and felt the need to simply ignore the note and, by doing so, send a message of her own? Just a thought. Good story, overall. I like that readers are having differing reactions to it. 🙂
Such concentration and dedication on both their parts! She’ll come across the note someday, and wonder…
Sometimes you’ve got to be a bit more upfront about these things, right? I like the way you managed to build up hope and then crush it. All in 33 words. Nice job. Thanks for linking up!
Very nice! Love the surprise.
